Palazzina Marfisa d'Este
Corso Giovecca, 170 | Ferrara
Built in 1559 by Francesco d'Este's willing, inherited by hid daughter Marfisa together with Schifanoia Palace, the palace is today one of Ferrara Ancient Art Civic Museums headquarters.
After restoration works, the building is now a house-museum, with furniture following a style setting standard which still works.
The garden is outstanding, but especially the Loggia with its characteristic Grotto, garnished with hunting and fishing scenes.

Beyond the gaze - TEMPORARY EXHIBITION (from the 20th of February to the 12th of June 2022)
The exhibition, based on Vittorio Sgarbi's idea and realized by Art Foundation Ferrara and Ferrara's Municipality Art Museums Service in partnership with Kingford, is a journey through Arianna Di Romano's lens, talented photographer.
The artist immortalized faces and situations that deeply catched her attention while she was realizing her reportage, among Southeast Asia, Romania, Poland, Serbia and Bosnia, not forgetting her country of birth, Sardinia. The focus is on "tough" lifes, such as the ones of outcasts, destitutes and homeless.
Photos' aim is to push the audience "beyond the gaze", from which the exhibition's title, searching for a different and real beauty, digging "in the forgotten humanity".
