On the occasion of the Nature Festival, wine and food are going to be the protagonists from the 19th to the 4th of November 2018, there will be three main events dedicated to "food and beverage" to note on your agenda.
THE DAYS OF RICE AND ANCIENT WHEAT | From the 19th to the 21st of October 2018
It will be possible to taste risottos and ancient wheat pasta in the gastronomic stand near Pomposa Abbey. Moreover, there will be thematic meetings and the chance to buy those and others products in the farmers' market in Via delle Erbe.
HEMP DAYS | From the 26th to the 28th of October 2018
In addition to the gastronomic stand offering canapa food and drinks, the "Canua in the Delta" meeting will take place in the Pomposa Abbey garden on Saturday, the 27th of October, during which topics such as medical, industrial and food use of the hemp plant will be discussed. In the end, Via delle Erbe will be animate by sellers of those products derivated from hemp.
AUTUMN TASTE | From the 1st to the 4th of November 2018
Within the Castle Estense of Mesola landscape, you might taste truffle-made products, mushrooms and other undergrowth products. Don't miss an in-depth exposition of the Delta Pearls (such as mussels, clams and oysters). Guided tours to the Castle, laboratories and guided excursions will complete the whole offer.
Furthermore, during the whole Festival period, there will be birdwatching events for true lovers, photographic exhibitions, guided tours to Delta, to the Pomposa Abbey, to the Mesola wood and to the Mesola Castle and an exclusive guided tour to the Codigoro Garzaia too. During Sunday, the 21st of October, it will also take place a cycle meeting "Out in the Delta" which will start from the Pomposa Abbey. A 50km ring-itinerary which will cross the small towns of Goro, Santa Giustina and Mesola.
