Famous monument of the city of Ferrara, the Estense Castle still shows unique characteristics from its past as fortress and residence for d'Este Dukes: towers, ravelins and drawbidges mix with elegant balconies and marble galleries.

The restoration works brought back to light ancient structures of the mighty fortress and they helped in the recovery of large spaces under the court level.
They are wide rooms, suggestive for their barrel vault and the original cotto tiles floor, that were once storage rooms and entrance to the jetty, from where you could leave the castle on little boats or gold bucentaurs (from them comes the name "imbarcaderi").

The rooms, all connected, can be used individually or together and they are a multifunctional space suitable for meetings, dinners, buffets, exhibitions and conventions.

For safety reasons, in case all the rooms are used at the same time the maximum capacity must be limited within 225 people.
The combination can be several, as an example:
Imbarcadero 1 and 2 used simultaneously: maximum capacity 225 people
Imbarcadero 1 and 3 used simultaneously: maximum capacity 200 people
Imbarcadero 2 and 3 used simultaneously: maximum capacity 90 people
The simultaneous use of different rooms from different applicants could happen as long as the single activities do not disturb each other.
The exclusive use of Imbarcadero 3 provides for the entrance at Imbarcadero 2 that, in the specific case, will be just a simple passage and for that it's not a tax subject.

All the rooms are accessible for disabled.

The organization can guarantee efficient services for any events, complete with catering, floral decorations, historic Renaissance-style commemorations, audio-video equipment rental, hostess and guided tours to the Castle and to the temporary exhibitions.
