From Friday 24 to Sunday 26 October 2025, the ‘Festival del Ciclista Lento’ (Slow Cyclist's Festival) returns to Ferrara, the eighth edition of the festival ‘of the beautiful people who cycle’, the festival for those who love to cycle without hurry, enjoying views, encounters, stories and all ‘the good and the beautiful’ of the territory.

"Lucky the last who know how to enjoy life" is the philosophy that for eight years characterizes the event in Ferrara dedicated to cycling-slow, to celebrate those who use roads and cycling to pedal slowly, without particular talent for sport, without time to be respected or primates to be established.
There are those who choose the bicycle for the pleasure of cycling and move freely with an ecological means, without chasing performance, watt and odometer. Who enjoys the two wheels without the anxiety to arrive first, who lives the pleasure of the journey more than the finish, appreciating landscapes, tastes and curiosities met along the paths. Who uses the bike daily, to go to work or to shop, to accompany children to school, to enjoy spaces of their city, in their free time and not, in an ecological and sustainable way and does so asking for safety...
